High Point Market visitors can prepare for China Furniture Fair while they are here

GUANGZHOU, China — Coming off a blockbuster fair this year, the 53rd edition of China International Furniture Fair, one of the world’s largest furniture and interiors trade exhibitions here, is poised for another record-setting year in 2024.

And, as a special incentive for visitors attending this week’s High Point Market, any visitor signing up to attend the upcoming CIFF during the High Point show Oct. 14-18 will have an opportunity to receive a complimentary hotel stay during CIFF Guangzhou 2024 as well as meal vouchers.

Every year, the International Furniture Fair features two events, with the CIFF Guangzhou held in March and CIFF Shanghai held in September.

The 53rd edition of the fair will be the CIFF Guangzhou to be held in March 2024 in the city of Guangzhou. This mega event will take place in two phases because of its enormous scale. Both phases together are expected to cover more than 800,000 square meters, with over 4,000 exhibitors and close to 400,000 visitors in total.

The first phase commonly referred to as CIFF Home Furniture will be March 18-21. It is primarily devoted to residential furniture. The Home Furniture sector will showcase the latest home furnishing products from leading Chinese and international companies.

And as in years past, visitors can expect to shop an extensive offering of new and exciting products touting the latest designs, technologies and features along with ODM and OEM products. This also underscores CIFF’s role as a critical link between furniture manufacturers and global markets.

Home décor and home textiles will also be highlighted during the first phase with a heavy emphasis on cutting-edge trends in interior decorations including home accessories, lighting, paintings, decorative elements and artificial flowers.

The outdoor furniture, sunshade and leisure segment, meanwhile, will showcase a full assortment of outdoor products such as tables, chairs and awnings for the garden, related décor and much more.

The Office and Commercial Space segment of the show takes place during the second phase of the fair, which will take place March 28-31. This segment has the distinction of the world’s largest trade fair dedicated to the office, workplace systems and seating.

Here, show attendees will see the latest trends and solutions for not only the office, but for applications including public settings, commercial offices and educational offices, as well as health care platforms and environments.

At the same time, CIFM/Interzum Guangzhou 2023, which is also featured during Phase 2, will host leading Chinese and international brands presenting the most innovative technologies, machinery, materials, surfaces and components essential for the increasingly innovative and intelligent development of the furniture industry.

And, in addition to the multifaceted furniture segmentation by application, the CIFF organizers also offer free VIP online business-matching services all year round.

By submitting their requirements online, international buyers can indicate the products and designs desired as well as the ideal price range and enjoy an accurate match with CIFF’s clientele of more than 4,000 quality suppliers. They can then meet curated and shortlisted vendors in real-time, face-to-face and one-to-one in the comfort of their offices via Zoom video meetings at a date and time of their mutual convenience.

About the CIFF: As a global trade fair hosted by a direct subsidiary of China’s Ministry of Commerce, CIFF plays a crucial role for China’s furniture industry to participate in the global market.

Held for more than 25 consecutive years since it was launched, CIFF has evolved into a comprehensive venue that spans the entire value chain of the furniture industry. As an example, last year’s CIFF hosted 5,500 exhibitors and more than 530,000 visitors in an exhibition area in excess of 1,040,000 square meters.
