by SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Broad River Retail (BRR), one of the largest and fastest growing independently owned and operated Ashley Store licensees, celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest Ashley distribution center in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
“We are thrilled to officially cut the ribbon on our brand-new distribution center in Spartanburg,” Charlie Malouf, Broad River Retail President and CEO said. “This centrally located, premier distribution center represents another major infrastructure investment that positions us to better serve our guests in the Upstate of South Carolina and in western North Carolina with more in-stock merchandise, closer customer pick-up options, and a faster overall delivery time frame. One thing we have learned about our supply chains over the past couple of years is that a robust, in stock assortment coupled with speed to market is a winning combination and positions us to be able to furnish life’s best memories for years to come.”
The 81,250-square-foot distribution center is located at 2002 Nazareth Church Road. The distribution center can process 4,000 pieces of furniture and bedding a week, can hold over $3 million in inventory, and on average, can ship $1 million in merchandise a week.
