Description: The Senior Sourcing Manager will lead a team responsible for managing department-level sourcing. The associate will be responsible for cultivating cross-functional and vendor relationships to optimize cost strategy and vendor network and be the point person for our agents all over the world. This is a hybrid position that typically required three days per week in our Northbrook, IL headquarters office.
In this role, you will execute and advise on vendor strategies utilizing a vendor matrix to support Product Development and Buying strategies (including vendor allocation and sku rationalization). You will also negotiate favorable first costs based on targets provided by the Merchant team and effectively ensure design and materials are aligned to either first cost target or cost engineer on design and material direction
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of furniture sourcing or product development experience
- 5+ years of management experience
- Bachelor’s in business, merchandising, or related field
