HIGH POINT, N.C. – (August 5, 2022) – International Market Centers (IMC) will present 1,000+ permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits featuring fresh, new furniture, décor, lighting, rugs and more in its 17 Downtown properties – including the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) which marks its first phase of reorganization – plus engaging programming and can’t-miss industry events during the Fall 2022 High Point Market, October 22-26.
“Innovation is the guiding light for High Point Market this Fall,” said Bob Maricich, IMC CEO. “The promise of new brands, new partnerships, new introductions and new ideas is compelling the retail and design communities to gather again this October. With IMC’s exhibitors comprising 70% of the product resources at High Point, we are ready to lead the industry’s discovery opportunities again.”
Significant Product Center Updates
IMC’s 700+ permanent showrooms and 300+ temporary exhibits at High Point continue to diversify with 100+ new, relocated or expanded brands across 17 showroom properties and three temporary exhibit destinations: InterHall, The Suites at Market Square (SAMS) and Plaza Suites.
Driving the growth is the first phase of the reimagining of IHFC with the relocations of some 21 brands to and within the building to create new design and furniture destinations. The new Floor 5 accessories, lighting, rug and textiles collection is the top of a contiguous multi-floor decor offering that begins with InterHall on the ground floor. The IHFC remerchandising also creates a contiguous seven-story furniture destination anchored by some of the most influential brands in the industry. More showrooms will relocate for the Spring High Point Market in April 2023 to complete the transformation.
Nearly 80 additional new, expanded and relocated showrooms and temporary exhibits to date update the offerings elsewhere in IHFC, InterHall, the Commerce & Design Building, Market Square Tower, SAMS and Showplace. A full list of showroom and temporary exhibit updates will be announced soon.
In High Point, IMC’s High Point properties include: 300 E. Green St.; 300 S. Main St.; Commerce & Design Building; Furniture Plaza; Historic Market Square; International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC); Klaussner on Hamilton; Market Square Textile Tower; National Furniture Mart; Plaza Suites; Showplace; The Suites at Market Square (SAMS); and five on Hamilton Street – 121, 200, 320 and 330 N. Hamilton St., and 129 S. Hamilton St. IMC presents the only temporary exhibits at High Point with 70+ furniture and décor exhibitors in InterHall at IHFC; 200+ decor exhibitors on three floors in SAMS; and 15+ furniture exhibitors in Plaza Suites on the ground floor of Plaza Suites.
