Modular Seating Solutions to make Las Vegas Market debut

Product mix will include indoor and outdoor residential seating

LAS VEGAS — Modular Seating Solutions, a producer of easy-to-assemble KD sofas, sectionals, chairs and other seating, is making its Las Vegas debut at the Jan. 28-Feb. 1 Las Vegas Market.

The company has already shown its seating line in High Point, where company co-founders Matthew and Jordan Milberg have demonstrated how pieces consisting of a back, seats and various arm styles can be assembled in a few minutes without the use of tools. The concept is the result of several years of development that is also supported by several utility and design patents, with others pending.

“We are continually patenting everything we make,” Matthew Milberg told Home News Now.

He said the company decided to show in Las Vegas because of the positive response it had in High Point along with demand for this type of easy-to-assemble product, whose simple and compact packaging can easily be moved into elevators and small doorways of condos and apartments.

“There is strong demand for modular furniture,” Milberg added. “There is a need for it in the marketplace.”

In development for several years, Modular Seating Solutions also achieved a recent breakthrough in the marketplace as it is being placed on 100 floors at The Brick, where the line is being sold as part of the Scott Living brand.

This four-piece set by Modular Seating Solutions includes a sofa, loveseat, armchair and ottoman.

At market, the company will occupy about 600 square feet of space in the temporaries at WMC B 601-64J. It will show two large five-piece sectionals, each with a companion ottoman, as well as three additional sofas, two loveseats and six chairs.

The pieces are available in multiple fabrics — including eight to 10 fabrics for each of its collections — thus illustrating the custom nature of the line. It also will showcase several recently developed arm styles that are in addition to its existing arm styles that include a high and low track arm, a slope arm and a roll arm, among others.

Modular Seating Solutions also offers sectionals as part of its mix.

“This is well built and manufactured with precision,” Matthew Milberg noted. “And all of our designs are interchangeable and expandable. Every arm fits on every frame. Our product is customizable, expandable, patented and tool-free.”

“The top industry leaders in brick and mortar and online have commented that this is the best they have ever seen it done,” added Jordan Milberg of the response the company has received from accounts, including a number of those featured in HNN’s 125 furniture and bedding retailers.

And in addition to the indoor residential SKUs, the company’s Las Vegas mix will include a new line of outdoor seating featuring wicker treatment in three different color options.
