LENOIR, N.C. — Bernhardt Furniture has hired industry veteran Neill Robinson as executive vice president of the company’s residential case goods division.
He comes to the company from Legacy Modern, where he had been president and chief executive officer since March 2021. Before that, he was with Theodore Alexander for eight years, serving as vice president of sales before being named president, a position he held for nearly four years.
Before joining Theodore Alexander, he ran sales organization Robinson Sales Associates for nearly 12 years, representing Universal and Craftmaster.
Before that, he was in an executive sales position at Cabot House/Thomasville Furniture.
In his new position, he reports to Steve Pilgrim, who was recently promoted to president, Bernhardt Residential.
“Neill’s wealth of experience, including product development, merchandising, marketing and retail and wholesale furniture sales, along with his broad customer relationship will help us continue to create exciting new products, deepen and grow our retailer partnerships and expand our case goods business for many years to come,” Pilgrim said.
Alex Bernhardt Jr, president and chief executive officer, said that he also is pleased to have Robinson join the company.
“Having Neill on our team, along with the new executive changes we’ve recently instituted, will position Bernhardt for even more success in the future and will solidify our position as a leader in residential, hospitality and contract furniture,” he said.
Robinson added that he is excited to “join such a prestigious and respected home furnishings brand. Bernhardt has an incredible reputation in our industry, and I look forward to helping build on that achievement in the case goods division.”
