HIGH POINT — The American Home Furnishings Alliance has hired Nicholas Spino as website and digital communications manager, a new position for the organization representing more than 200 industry manufacturers and distributors.
He will be responsible for website content, member engagement through social media channels and development of new digital marketing and communications strategies to support AHFA’s mission.
Spino was previously coordinator of electronic communications for High Point University, where he developed and managed social media and email campaigns within the Offices of Family Engagement, Annual Giving and Alumni Engagement. He graduated from High Point University with a degree in communications in 2019.
“Our members rely on us for timely communications on an ever-widening range of topics,” AHFA Vice President of Communications Patricia Bowling, said in a release. “Nicholas’ focus on our website and social media platforms will help us build enhanced member relationships through customized communications that give members the information they want on a broader assortment of easily accessible platforms.”
