“Morris Furniture Co. will be opening more showrooms in 2024,” said Larry Klaben, chairman, noting that 2023 was a year of planning while this year marks a time of significant expansion. “Not only are we opening more showrooms, but we are also opening more doors for career advancement for current associates and new hires. It is truly a remarkable time for our company.”

The company is opening Morris Home and Ashley showrooms in the Tuttle Crossing Shopping Center on Britton Parkway in Columbus near Best Buy, Ross Dress for Less, Macy’s Furniture Gallery, La-Z-Boy and Golf Galaxy stores. With these openings, there will be three Morris Home and five Ashley showrooms in the Columbus market.

The Ashley showroom in the Deerfield Town Center, in Mason, Ohio, next to Dick’s & Whole Foods will be relocated. It is moving to a larger showroom within the same shopping center near a new Nordstrom Rack.

After the Mason Ashley showroom is relocated, the former site will be remodeled and will be the future location of a new Morris Home showroom. Once opened, there will be three Morris Home showrooms in the Cincinnati/northern Kentucky market along with four Ashley showrooms.

An additional Dayton area Ashley showroom will open in Huber Heights, Ohio, in the North Heights Shopping Center near Hobby Lobby, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Burlington and Target. This will be the company’s third Ashley showroom in the Dayton market, where the retailer also has three Morris Home showrooms and one Morris Outlet location.

In Cincinnati, two Ashley showrooms will move to new locations outfitted with the most current trends and new Ashley 7.0 store footprint. This new design standard reflects an overall company purpose: “To Inspire the Love of Home, and Enrich the Lives of All Around Us.”

In addition to the aforementioned Mason, Ohio, location, the company is relocating its Ashley showroom now inside Cincinnati’s Northgate Mall. It will move to a more visible location in the Colerain Shopping Center that is also home to Chipotle and Chick- Fil-A restaurants.

The company’s flagship Morris Home Centerville, Ohio, location also is currently undergoing extensive remodeling.

“We opened two new Morris Home showrooms in the Dayton market during 2020,” said Manny Sciberras, president and chief executive officer of Morris Furniture Co. “We are excited to enhance our Centerville location to give our guests an even better shopping experience.”

Existing Ashley Columbus, Reynoldsburg and Polaris showrooms also are being remodeled for the Ashley 7.0 footprint.

“Guests love the improved look of our remodeled showrooms,” Larry Klaben noted. “Room collections stand out better in our brighter, elevated and refreshed space. We’re excited for new guests and returning customers to experience the changes.”

Sciberras added that the Morris team has worked hard to make this year the biggest growth year in the company’s 76-year history.

“Our new showrooms along with remodeling projects in our existing locations will give more guests the best shopping experience in the markets we serve,” Sciberras said.
