Raymour & Flanigan adds 10th Massachusetts location in Boston area

SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Retailer Raymour & Flanigan has opened its 10th Massachusetts location, marking its efforts to expand is presence in the Boston area.

Located at 117 Middlesex Ave., the store opened in time for the Memorial Day weekend in the Assembly Row shopping area that is home to a TJ Maxx and HomeGoods, Trader Joe’s, Burlington and Staple’s. The store also is near entertainment and recreation areas along the Mystic River including the Sylvester Baxter Riverfront Park and the kid-friendly Lego Discovery Center Boston.

With these and other attractions, the store expects to draw shoppers not only on weekends, but also on weekdays, particular as families spend time in and around the shopping district.

“We look forward to serving our customers and expanding our presence in the Boston market,” the company said on its LinkedIn page announcing the store.

In addition to a wide variety of furniture and bedding, including Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, Purple, King Koil and GhostBed, the store also offers free mattress consultations as well as free design consultation services.

Products are also delivered to the customer’s home with white-glove delivery services of about three days or less. Customers can come in the store where they can see and feel the product in person. They can also place their order in-store or online, where they can see further product description and details along with the anticipated delivery date.

In addition to the 10 stores in Massachusetts, the company has 68 stores in New York, 36 in Pennsylvania, 35 in New Jersey, 13 in Connecticut, four in Delaware and two in Rhode Island.
