Description: The Director of Inventory is a key senior management role that works across multiple locations providing continuous direction, guidance and business enhancement recommendations to all levels of Ashley management. This position is responsible for budget development and adherence, X to Y project direction, inventory controls, government, legal and audit compliance and representation. This role works directly with other Ashley departments on system development and improvements to Bills of Material, Labor routings, inventory controls and product costing.
This position must maintain the integrity of the operational accounting aspects of the financial statements such as inventory, standard cost of sales, operating expenses. This position is responsible for successful guidance and development of a large team of professional staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5-10 years’ experience in a cost or Inventory management role
