Job Title: Director, Commercial Sales

Description: This position is responsible for the development and management of a team that will create a new revenue stream focusing on commercial clients. The qualified individual will be focused on prospecting new customers and overseeing the sales and design process right through to delivery. If you are an entrepreneurial, go getter who is not only well-versed in the commercial furniture industry, but is also interested in being a key influencer in implementing our next successful venture within Jordan’s, this role is for you.
Responsibilities include hiring, training and motivating a commerican sales /project management team and solicit and cultivate relationships with small to medium sized organizations to fulfill their commercial furniture needs. This person will develop and maintain a client pipeline for potential future business and develop and execute plan for lead-generation events and trade shows.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of successful experience in sales management in a business-to-business selling environment, preferably in the commercial furniture industry
- Experience with leading, developing, and coaching team members in sales roles
- Experience developing new business and driving results
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- High level of written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawings
