Hooker Furnishings announces shift in merchandising, marketing for legacy brands

Company eliminates president position at Hooker Brands

MARTINSVILLE, Va. — Hooker Furnishings said it has has announced a new approach to merchandising and marketing that will enable the company to better leverage the collaborative strengths of each of its legacy brands.

“Through a more collaborative effort between our Bradington-Young, Hooker Furniture, HF Custom and M brands, we can better leverage the strengths of our global case goods expertise and domestic upholstery manufacturing capabilities to provide our customers with a well-rounded product offering that adresses the whole home,” said Jeremy Hoff, CEO of Hooker Furnishings.

As part of the strategic initiative, the position of president, Hooker Brands has been eliminated.

“We want to thank Mike Harris for his six years with our company,” Hoff said. “We are extremely grateful for his contributions and wish him all the best.”

The company plans to announce more on the new iniative in the near future.
