Retailer also has moved its Louisville, Kentucky, location to The Paddock Shops
DANBURY, Conn. — Luxury furniture retailer Ethan Allen is moving two of its Design Centers to new locations in the fall and also recently relocated its Louisville, Kentucky, center.
The company relocated its Louisville Design Center to The Paddock Shops, which also is home to Gap, West Elm, Barnes & Noble, DSW, Chico’s, Ulta Beauty, Banana Republic, Men’s Warehouse, Talbots and other well-known retailers.
In the fall, it plans to relocate its Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Watchung, New Jersey, Design Centers, although no firm dates have been set for each opening. However, the company said it has opened a temporary location in Albuquerque that clients can visit to make purchases and plan projects until the new location is completed.
The Design Centers are staffed with members of Ethan Allen’s professional interior design team, who work with clients on various projects — whether it’s a single room or multiple rooms in the home — using tools such as 3D digital room planners to recommending custom artwork, custom linens and custom window treatments, for example.
As much of the company’s furniture is made in the U.S., it also can be customized with multiple fabric, finish and hardware options as well as wood species.
“Our vision of classic design from a modern perspective, our blend of personal service and design technology, and our 92-year reputation for handcrafted quality offers clients an exceptional value,” said Farooq Kathwari, Ethan Allen’s chairman, president and chief executive officer. “We look forward to strengthening our position as the interior design destination in each of these communities.”
