Mark Price returns to Minhas Furniture House

CALGARY, Alberta — Industry veteran Mark Price has returned to upholstery and case goods resource Minhas Furniture House as vice president of sales and marketing.

He is in a role formerly held by Mack Peters, who recently became president of upholstery manufacturer Clear Water Smart Home.

Price comes to the company from Enza Home, where he was brand director for nearly two years. Before that he was vice president of sales at Sealy Sofa and before that was executive vice president of sales and marketing at Flair/Minhas Furniture Group.

He also was previously vice president of U.S. sales at Amisco and before that was national sales manager of Primo International for more than 12 years. Before joining Primo, he was senior vice president of sales at importer Rosalco for about 10 years.

In his new position, he reports to President Bill Minhas and will be responsible for all sales and marketing of the company’s product line for the U.S.

Price said he was pleased to be back with the company, noting that the line offers retailers selection and quality in both domestic and imported stationary and motion upholstery as well as a line of imported bedroom and dining furniture. He said it also has a strong sales force of 20-25 independent reps, including seven the company has picked up in recent months from Ashley, United and Klaussner.
