Description: The Shopper Marketing Manager develops and aligns key vendor partner and NMG member marketing strategies to deliver a positive shopping experience with the goal of driving profitable growth for all. This role supports the Home Appliance, Consumer Electronics, and Outdoor categories, interfacing regularly with a portfolio of top brands such as LG Appliances, Samsung, and Traeger.

The Shopper Marketing Manager role will involve high collaboration with vendors and merchant team to build marketing strategies. Attention to detail is crucial with success based on consistent follow-through and flawless execution of tactical plan. This position will leverage their prior experience along with a healthy sense of discovery to support NMG’s strategic initiatives and the Shopper Marketing team’s quest for continuous improvement/optimization. Must be independent retailer member-focused. NMG’s mission is to help the member thrive on their own terms

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in shopper marketing, brand marketing, retailer marketing, project management, account management or related area; Digital marketing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the full range of marketing vehicles such as digital, social media, point-of-sale, promotions, sales materials, direct mail, etc., and the strategic application of all
  • Current knowledge of industry, shopper and consumer trends
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks for multiple stakeholders concurrently
  • Ability to interpret/discuss complex strategies to inform activation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and develop strategic solutions
  • High level of professionalism and excellent presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of creative process and good design principles
