Angela Hsu leaves marketing post at Overstock.com

MIDVALE, Utah — Angela Hsu, chief marketing officer at Overstock.com, which now does business as Bed Bath & Beyond, has resigned from the company effective Sept. 6.

Hsu has served in the position for the past year and seven months. Before that she worked for Lamps Plus for more than 19 years, including just over five years as senior vice president marketing and e-commerce and 10 years prior as vice president, internet business and marketing.

The company said that Dave Nielsen, president, has taken on Hsu’s responsibilities, while she will transition to an advisory role.

In a Sept. 11 filing with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission, the company said Hsu’s decision to resign was not due to any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to its operations including its ongoing re-branding efforts.

The company said it will being a search for her replacement.
