Deliveright names Kevin Walker executive vp, sales and marketing

RALEIGH, N.C. – Final-mile delivery specialist Deliveright has named industry veteran Kevin Walker executive vice president, sales and marketing, a newly created position.

Walker was most recently president of Accentrics Home, a division of Hooker Furnishings. He also concurrently served as president of sister e-commerce division Right 2 Home for more than 10 years.

He also previously served as president of Creations Baby, a division of Home Meridian International and before that was vice president, sales and product development at youth furniture manufacturer Young America, a division of Stanley Furniture.

Before that, he was director, sales at youth furniture resource Pali Furniture and was previously president of Walker Sales Associates. Earlier in his career he also was an independent sales representative at Mike Augustine Associates, specializing in the juvenile products industry.

In his new role, he reports to Doug Laden, CEO and co-founder of Deliveright. Walker will be responsible for managing the sales force as well as managing and helping grow various revenue sources. He also will oversee marketing initiatives, including analyzing various marketing plans in order to help grow revenues.

Founded in 2018, the company got its start in final-mile, white-glove delivery in the furniture industry. According to its website, it serves more than 1,000 customers in e-commerce and manufacturing across the furniture, industrial equipment and transportation industries.

“Kevin joins us from Hooker Furnishings and has spent almost two decades building their e-commerce division,” co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Ori Anavim said in a post on LinkedIn. “We could not ask for a better leader to help propel Deliveright into its next stage!”
