Description: The Director of Accounting’s role is to provide oversight of general accounting operations, while managing and developing the accounting team. They will oversee the accounting areas of key functions which include but are not limited to SG&A, Cash Management, Warranty or other areas as necessary.
In addition, they will execute month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entry completeness, income statement analytics, and balance sheet reconciliations, culminating in the release of internal and external financial reports in compliance with GAAP.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of prior work experience in an accounting function, with at least 4 years of management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP
- Exhibits strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to form, lead and develop a high-performing team
