Description: The director of product design develops ideas, produces sketches, designs, and CADs on an in-house basis. They will partner with outside design and development resources as needed to bring products to the pd & engineering phase and ensure design vision is kept whole by closely partnering with VP of Merchandising.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree with major in product, furniture, or interior design curriculum.
- Technical skills: Must be very digitally capable w/ research, presentation materials, CAD or 3D for visualizations, Photoshop for color review and adjustments, MS Office Suite for project management and communications, Excel for pricing and margin analysis. Any CRM or PLM system capability a plus.
