HIGH POINT — Industry veteran Robin Hoff has been named senior vice president, upholstery merchandising at luxury furniture manufacturer Theodore Alexander, a new position.
She comes to the company from upholstery resource Aria Designs, where she had worked for nearly nine years, most recently as executive vice president, sales and merchandising. Before that, she was vice president, sales and marketing and director of sales and marketing.
Before joining Aria, she was a senior sales representative at Abercrombie Textiles, Se7en USA and Paragon Global Textiles and previously worked in upholstery sales and merchandising at both Drexel Heritage and Huntington House Furniture for 10 years.
She is also a member of WithIt and the Spirit of Life Dinner Committee for the City of Hope.
Hoff, who began her new position Aug. 7, said she is pleased to join Theodore Alexander and thrilled at this next opportunity in her career in the industry.
She reports to Ed Teplitz, president of Theodore Alexander USA.
I am excited to have Robin join our Theodore Alexander leadership team in order to grow both our domestic and import upholstery business,” Teplitz told Home News Now. “Robin’s expertise in product and fabric merchandising, combined with Theodore Alexander’s manufacturing strengths will help establish TA as a strong upholstery partner for our customers.”
