HIGH POINT — Luxury furniture manufacturer Jonathan Charles Furniture has hired industry veteran Garth Robinson as senior vice president of sales, a new position.
Robinson comes to the company from Theodore Alexander, where he has worked for the past 16 and a half years, most recently as vice president of sales and marketing for about six and a half years. Before that, he was a company manufacturers sales representative for about 10 years.
Prior to this, he held manufacturers sales representative positions with Henredon, Hickory White and Lexington Furniture.
In his new role, he reports to Jonathan Sowter, chief executive officer and founder of Jonathan Charles Furniture.
“Garth’s wealth of experience, including product development, merchandising, marketing, and retail and wholesale furniture sales, along with his broad customer relationships will help us continue to create exciting new products, deepen and grow our retailer partnerships, and expand our case goods business for many years to come,” Sowter said.
