Description: The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for helping the distribution center achieve the performance goals for productivity, cost, quality, and safety. They will lead the team to operate efficiently and facilitate the daily work of the department. In addition, this cadidate will will also manage the performance reporting of the distribution center department including establishing and tracking daily performance standards
The person in this role works with department managers to establish the daily and weekly goals and objectives and ensures proper execution of tasks. They will assist with the creation of a weekly work schedule based on business needs and manage the day-to-day activity within the department, including planning, flow, and resource prioritization.
This position will directly manage a team within the distribution center and will need to be able to develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders. This includes providing strategic advice so direct reports will have an accurate view of the market and the company’s future; and preparing and implementing comprehensive business plans to facilitate.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- 3 plus years of experience in a warehouse supervisor or distribution center role. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
