by HIGH POINT, NC – As a way to reach more people and stay true to its mission of providing education and leadership development, WithIt, the women’s leadership development network for the home and furnishings industry, has announced that it will offer a virtual ticket option for its annual professional conference being held June 23rd and 24th. Industry professionals still have time to register for the in-person conference.
“After two years of hosting the conference virtually due to COVID, we are excited to be holding it in person this year,” states WithIt’s Executive Director, Amy Van Dorp. “Although there is no way to replicate the excitement and energy of being at the conference in-person, we realize that COVID and current business conditions still affect some people’s ability to travel. Our plan to offer the main stage streaming ticket builds on what we’ve learned during the past two years – offering virtual options opens education to a wider audience.”
WithIt’s annual professional conference is known as the home and furnishings industry’s best forum for professional development to build today’s leaders. This year’s conference, entitled, “Empowering Leaders to SOAR,” is being held at the Westin Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. The two-day program offers industry professionals at all stages of their careers the opportunity to learn from top-notch speakers, develop skills, and network with industry peers. Membership is not required to attend.
The virtual ticket offers live streaming of the speakers on the main stage both Thursday and Friday morning from 8:30 am to 12:15 pm and a copy of the book, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion,” by Dr. Shirley Davis. The cost for virtual tickets is $99 for WithIt members. Guest tickets are $299 which include a one-year WithIt membership. For tickets go to: www.withit.org.
The speakers, panelists, and roundtables all focus on timely topics of leadership, mentoring, mental health and well-being, re-inventing and transitioning your career, work/life balance, as well as industry-specific topics such as leveraging influencers for your brand, data management, and more.
