Easy Way Products achieves sustainability certification for Texas distribution facility

BROWNSVILLE, Texas — Indoor and outdoor furniture and accessories resource Easy Way Products said has received Forest Stewardship Council Certification for its distribution center here.

The company said this certification recognizes its practices in responsible sourcing, environmental conservation and other sustainable practices relating to its luxury product line.

The company said it met the FSC’s stringent criteria for sustainability by demonstrating its adherence to the highest environmental and social standards. It also noted that it remains committed to continuous improvement in sustainability and that it plans to expand its FSC certification where possible.

“We are so excited to announce our Brownsville, Texas location is officially FSC certified,” said David Lueder, chief commercial officer of Easy Way Products, adding that in the near future, the company plans to expanding the certification to its  Matamoros factory location in Mexico.

The company added that achieving the FSC certification aligns with its core values and reinforces its commitment to sustainability and giving back to its communities.

“This certification also reinforces our commitment to environmental responsibility, local social impact in our communities, new and growing market opportunities, as well as transparent and credible business and manufacturing processes for our partners and customers.”
