ARCADIA, Wis. [December 29, 2022] – On Wednesday, December 28, Hub Group (HUBG) and Ashley for the Arts hosted an unveiling event for an exciting new program to earn funds for the non-profit organization. A sparkling, maroon 53 ft. intermodal container was revealed at the Ashley Furniture Industries facility in front of employees and guests. The launch of the Cause Container brings a new way for Ashley for the Arts fans across the country to donate to the cause, courtesy of Hub Group.
Hub Group’s Cause Container program is unique in the industry as the company custom paints several of its 53 ft. intermodal containers to serve as mobile billboards for selected charitable organizations. The Ashley for the Arts container will travel the country (road and rail) – when fans spot the Ashley for the Arts Cause Container, they can earn funds for Ashley for the Arts by simply uploading a photo of it to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn with the #CauseContainer hashtag. Hub Group will donate $100 to the charity, plus $1 every time the posted photo is publicly shared.
“We are very excited and appreciative for this partnership with Hub and the Cause Container program. The funds raised will allow us to further our impact with the more than 70 non-profit organizations that we support,” said Cole Bawek, Event Director, Ashley for the Arts. “We encourage all of our fans to keep an eye out for the Ashley for the Arts container and help us earn donations!”
“At Hub Group, we pride ourselves on the work we do with multiple charitable organizations. The Cause Container program leverages the scale of our network across North America, raising awareness and funds for great causes,” said Phil Yeager, President and CEO, Hub Group. “We are proud to support the work of Ashley for the Arts, by adding this great organization to our Cause Container program.”
