The Product Data Specialist will be a member of the team supporting projects critical to everyday business: inventory feed maintenance, EDI data management, lead time updates, and maintaining accurate and reliable data across all internal and external facing platforms for retailers such as Home Depot, Target, Wayfair, Lowe’s, etc.
This role will support the relationship between an accurate product information management system and publishing the product data across all retail channels to ensure a clear, cohesive brand experience. The position will report directly to the Director of Sales Operations as a member of the Product Information team and will collaborate with Program Managers and Project Managers throughout all phases of the product life cycle.
This role is part of a team that has overall responsibility for product syndication and product data governance – evaluating all current and new data to ensure that it is complete, accurate, and updated on a timely basis. This position will ensure all business-critical data requirements are identified and acquired, as well as manage the associated risks involved with inaccurate product information within quality and time targets.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of product information management and/or data management experience preferred
- Experience with EDI systems and ERP systems are strongly preferred
- Experience with Product Information Management systems, such as Salsify or Syndigo
- Must possess strong organizational, problem-solving skills, and demonstrated follow-up skills to focus on multiple tasks, but also comfortable asking for help or escalating issues
