Description: The Director of IT will manage and direct the company’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service. This role will work closely with leaders in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
The Director of IT collaborates with all department heads to build technology strategies to support avocados strategic goals, priorities and initiatives. They will be responsible for leading and managing IT staff, budgeting and financial management and building relationships with shareholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the field of Information Technology with at least three in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience with Net Suite by Oracle or similar ERP.
- Proven knowledge, experience and a history of success in operational management.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
