Hi-Rock Home steps up promotions for High Point Market

Dealers can receive either free floor samples or discounts on their orders

HIGH POINT — To help drive business in the coming weeks and months, motion furniture specialist Hi-Rock Home is offering special promotions on its recliners to dealers who visit the company’s showroom here at the October High Point Market.

Between now and the end of the year, the company is offering single-store dealers a free promotional floor sample of one of its recliners with a container order of five or six of the roughly 25 models in its line.

For dealers with multiple stores, the company is offering what it described as aggressive discounts on their orders.

The product mix includes a wide array of options available in the recliner line, including all leather, leather/vinyl, hi-leg motion or press-back models that are available in multiple leather options.

“What we are trying to accomplish is buy some floor space,” said Ernie Rockhill, president. “We are trying to lure people through the door.”

A goal is to introduce new and existing dealers to the company’s expansive line of recliners as well as its stationary and motion upholstery mix that includes, sofas, chairs and sectionals.

“Hi-Rock Home is working hard to bring fresh designs, better leathers and more detailing to the reclining chair category,” Rockhill said. “And we want to help our customers tell that story in a tangible way.”

The company is showing its line in Space 231 of the Main Wing of the International Home Furnishings Center. Sales representatives will be on hand to share more details about the promotions with dealers who visit the company at market.
