Description:
This new position will oversee all activities for the visual merchandising team. They will design plan and set layouts for 50+ stores in direct collaboration with local visual merchandisers to create a visually appealing product presentation that optimizes sales and helps to create an industry-leading customer experience. This position requires staying up to date on the latest trends in the industry to assist merchandising in product purchase and the layout of each store.
In addition, other responsibilities include maintaining open and consistent communication with buyers, visual merchandisers, and store managers; developing and maintaining a collaborative community with the visual merchandising team at all locations; and provide direction on merchandising/tagging for visual merchandising associates as it relates to their location/job.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrate an Interior design ability, creativity and an eye for color
- Proven work experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Visual Manager
- Knowledge of current interior design/furnishing trends and best practices
