Description: Leggett & Platt is searching for an Account Representative to help support its bedding business. As an Account Representative you will have the opportunity to support the sales of the company with a primary focus in the upholstered furniture industry. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought.
The person in this role will meet and exceed sales goals by maintaining current accounts and developing additional growth within these accounts. They will also continuously evaluate the market for new business and customer opportunities,and partner with the ECS manufacturing facilities to respond to customer needs and to build customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business-related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and customer/supplier relationship principles
- Daily travel within the NC region (80% of the time)
- Fully competent in Microsoft Office suite
