Description: The Retail Distribution Center (RDC) Senior Manager directs the daily activities of the distribution center including labor scheduling, supervision and proper utilization of space, equipment and manpower. This position serves as a contact and coordinator between warehouse operations, customer service, and delivery. The RDC Senior Manager maintains accountability for safety, quality and productivity as well as the facility and equipment.
This position works on the system to provide leadership, direction and set targets. This position will establish, eliminate, improve, and/or alter processes impacting retail distribution center efficiencies and effectiveness while contributing to the overall improvement of the HomeStore targeted measures of throughput inventory and operating expenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Logistics or related field, or equivalent work experience, Required
- 8 years in distribution/fulfillment and/or supervising exempt leaders, Required
- Company-issued industrial vehicle license, or ability to obtain within 30 days, Required
- Strong knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen Process Improvement methodology
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
- Action Oriented – dedicated to making and meeting deadlines
- Ability to speak to large audiences and present to senior leadership
