Description: The Senior Director, Inventory and Replenishment Optimization for the Bob’s Discount Furniture organization will lead all quantitative and analytical projects related to Inventory and Replenishment to provide end-to-end solutions to drive product availability and deliver a world-class customer experience.
Leading and managing multiple workstreams based on analytical frameworks, this person will work with cross-functional supply chain partners to solve organization-level business needs. They will also partner with senior functional leadership across the organization to develop data-driven solutions. Engage cross-functionally across teams (IT, merchant, fulfillment, finance) to develop organization-level supply chain/inventory and replenishment solutions.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Supply Chain Management is required, or a related field with 10+ years experience in advanced data analytics in retail/supply chain industry-leading end to end supply chain projects. They will also need an advanced level of knowledge and understanding of relational database skills (Access, SQL Server, etc.) and experience writing Complex SQL queries to pull large sets of data, and performing analysis using SQL queries.
