HIGH POINT — The Bienenstock Furniture Library has added home furnishings industry veteran Patti Carpenter, principal of carpenter + company and Trendscope, to its board of directors.
Carpenter is a New York based consumer trends expert who will serve a critical role in the development of the annual Student Design Summit, a library initiative that was launched this year. Carpenter was a keynote speaker at the inaugural event in September.
“The Bienenstock Furniture Library board of directors finds purpose in serving the future needs of the home furnishings industry,” Executive Director Karla Jones said in a release. “We’re excited for Patti to bring her experience, industry connections and personal commitment to help launch the next generation of design professionals.”
The board position will be occupied by Carpenter for a two-year term, effective this month.
