by HIGH POINT – North Carolina artist Bill Mangum will be appearing at Leftbank Art during the High Point Market to greet customers and sign prints of a painting being given away to guests attending.
From 10:30 to 2:30 Saturday April 2, he will be signing 12×12 prints of his painting “Daybreak,” which is being given to those attending the event at the Leftbank Art space in H304 of the International Home Furnishings Center.
He also will have a painting in the works at the showroom and demonstrate his technique as he meets with customers.
Mangum is perhaps best known to the home furnishings industry for his licensed artist-inspired furniture collection, Carolina Preserves, developed in conjunction with Klaussner Home Furnishings.
He has also developed product in conjunction with Surya, Uwharrie Chair and Coast to Coast Accents.
In addition, his artistic talents have allowed him to travel the world, visiting many different countries and painting scenes capturing the beauty of England, Italy, the Greek Isles, Austria and Switzerland to name several.
His work of late has shifted from watercolors to acrylics, while also shifting from traditional realistic landscapes to a more contemporary palette.
His paintings will be on display at the Leftbank showroom and can also be viewed at www.leftbankart.com
