Report: Investment firm in talks to acquire Kuka Home parent

SHANGHAI — Investment firm Infore Group is in talks to acquire Jason Furniture Hangzhou, the parent company of Kuka Home, according to MT Newswires.

According to the financial news service, Infore is an investment firm controlled by He Jianfeng, the son of Midea Group founder He Xiangjian

The news service reported that Kuka Group, currently the largest shareholder, along with TB Home, are in discussions to transfer a stake in Jason Furniture, according to a filing on Tuesday.

Shares of Jason Furniture are suspended from trading, pending the release of more details about the deal, the report said. Founded in 1982, Kuka Home has more than 3,500 stores in China and wholesale customers in 120 countries.
